Legal Document
This Privacy Policy governs your use of the mobile application Brickstorm ("the Game," "the App"), developed and published by Zelicore Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"). Please read this document carefully. By downloading, installing, or playing Brickstorm, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, you must discontinue use of the Game immediately.
This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to Brickstorm and covers all interactions you have with the Game on any supported mobile platform, including Android (via Google Play Store). It does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked from within the Game.
Zelicore Technologies operates as the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation. Our registered business contact is listed in Section 12 of this policy.
We collect information through multiple channels in order to operate the Game, improve user experience, and display advertisements. The categories of data we collect are described below.
When you launch or use the Game, we automatically collect technical information about your device, including: device make, model, and manufacturer; operating system name and version; unique device identifiers (e.g., Android ID); screen resolution and display settings; available storage and RAM; mobile carrier and network type (Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G); and time zone and language settings.
We collect data about how you interact with the Game to improve performance and user experience. This includes: levels and stages accessed or completed; high scores, brick-destruction statistics, and in-game achievements; frequency and duration of play sessions; features accessed within the Game; and in-app purchase activity where applicable.
In the event of a crash, error, or unexpected behaviour, our systems may automatically collect diagnostic information including: crash reports and stack traces; error codes and descriptions; device state at the time of failure (battery level, memory usage); IP address (collected temporarily for diagnostic routing); and app version and build number.
To display advertisements within the Game, we and our advertising partners may access your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID). These identifiers are used to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can reset or limit the use of these identifiers through your device settings at any time.
If you contact us for support or provide feedback, you may voluntarily share personal information such as your name and email address. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not retained beyond the resolution of your request unless you consent otherwise.
Where applicable under data protection law, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
We use the information we collect for the following specific purposes:
To deliver the core gameplay experience, save your brick-breaking progress, and provide features such as level unlocking and high-score tracking.
To analyse gameplay patterns, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve game performance, stability, and level design.
To detect, diagnose, and fix technical issues, crashes, and bugs that may affect your gaming experience.
To display advertisements that fund the free availability of the Game. Ads may be personalised or non-personalised based on your consent and location.
To protect the integrity of the Game, detect cheating or abuse, and ensure a fair experience for all players.
To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.
Brickstorm integrates the following third-party services and software development kits (SDKs). Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review their terms independently.
| Service | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play Services | Platform infrastructure, authentication, and device services | Google LLC |
| Google AdMob | In-game advertising and ad personalisation | Google LLC |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Usage analytics, event tracking, and audience insights | Google LLC |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Real-time crash reporting and stability monitoring | Google LLC |
Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. We are not responsible for the data practices of any third-party service.
Brickstorm is offered free of charge and is supported by in-game advertising delivered through Google AdMob. The Game may display both personalised and non-personalised advertisements depending on your consent status and jurisdiction.
Personalised Ads use your advertising identifier and behavioural data to show ads that are relevant to your interests. Non-Personalised Ads are shown based on contextual information only, such as your general location or the content of the Game.
You may opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
Opting out of personalised ads does not remove advertising from the Game; it means the ads you see will be less tailored to your interests.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. Specifically:
We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure, including TLS encryption in transit and secure database rules. However, no system is completely immune to security threats, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Brickstorm is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete it immediately.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address provided in Section 13.
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising out of it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zambia.
